Public Service Announcement. Warning: Beware of Online Scams involving fake Gordie Siddons (aka "Easy Pete") social media accounts.
Fallout fans have been targeted with direct messages asking for money from fake social media accounts claiming to be Gordie Siddons, the Goodsprings resident who is thought to have inspired the Fallout New Vegas character, Easy Pete. Police believe it is an international extortion and fraud group who is responsible for the scam. So, please do not respond to messages that claim to be from Gordie Siddons or Easy Pete. They usually ask exploratory questions first and then eventually money. You can meet the "real" Easy Pete at the Celebration this year.
