We are excited about the upcoming "Fallout New Vegas Fan Celebration," and we want to make sure every attendee feels welcomed and valued. Many of you have been instrumental in making the event a success by helping encourage other friends/family/fans to attend. Your enthusiasm has been truly appreciated. However, with several thousand now expected to attend this year’s event and due to site constraints and safety considerations, we are going to refrain from further promotion and ask for your help doing the same.
We acknowledge that some of you may have anticipated attending and could be feeling uncertain about the logistics. We have no plans to turn anyone away, even if you didn’t have time to RSVP on our eventbrite page. But we ask for your patience and cooperation as we navigate this unique circumstance. It's crucial that we all work together to make this celebration enjoyable and safe for everyone. Our team is continuously monitoring the situation and evaluating how best to manage attendance, while keeping the event free to the general public without compromising safety or the enjoyment of the event.
We do, however, currently still have room at the celebration's after party on Sunday the 17th at Sandy Valley Ranch November 17th at 7PM, 1411 Kingston Rd Sandy Valley NV 89019. The after party will be 21 and older only and will cost $25 a person in advance ($35 at the door, if the event is not sold out as capacity is limited). If you or any family or friends haven't RSVP'd or made travel plans yet, please consider coming to the 2025 event in the fall of next year or plan on attending the after party instead: Old Man Liver's MOJAVE MAYHEM Wrap Party
We genuinely appreciate your support and understanding as we work toward creating a memorable gathering. Our aim is to foster an environment where all fans can connect, share their passion, and celebrate together, all while ensuring that everyone is safe. Thank you for being a part of this vibrant community, and we look forward to celebrating with you soon!

While you're in Goodsprings the weekend of November 16 & 17th, make arrangements to take a one hour ATV tour through the Mojave with Vegas ATV Adventures, Pioneer Saloon's next door neighbor. Use the Discount code : Fallout24 when you pre-register by clicking on the button below.
The Goodsprings Historical Society has a potential opportunity to acquire the Goodsprings Cemetery from Clark County. This would put the cemetery into the control of folks who actually have loved ones buried there and who are much more tied to the town long term than county bureaucrats. So, we're participating in a fund-raising drive for this as we will need to also have enough money for ongoing annual expenses, such as property tax, repair / maintenance, etc. If you would like to donate for this cause, or just believe in the cause of the historical society (preserving the historical and natural resources of the Goodsprings township), please use the QR code attached. As a 501(c)(3), all donations are tax deductible. Thank you.
The Saloon is a lot of things to a lot of different people. This one sheet contains just some of the events and things the Saloon is known for over the course of more than a century.

Saturday & Sunday, November 16 & 17, 2024 at Pioneer Saloon & Goodsprings General Store, 310 W. Spring St., Goodsprings, NV 89019. www.PioneerSaloonNV.com. The event starts at 9 am on Saturday the 16th and lasts until 9 pm the following day (on the 17th)
The 3rd annual Fallout Fan Celebration, also known as Fallout New Vegas Day(s), involves the participation of multiple companies and organizations coordinated by the owners of the Pioneer Saloon & Goodsprings General Store as well as Buttered Popcorn Entertainment.
The event is open to all ages. You are welcome to bring kids. The outside seating area, dining room and Goodsprings General Store are all ages. The Saloon itself (and any events inside) is 21 & over. Please judge your child's maturity as to whether you bring them along. It is a Saloon after-all.
If you're coming from Las Vegas, we highly recommend using the Goodsprings Express shuttle that comes from the Tuscany Suites & Casino, about 34 miles from the Saloon. You can even use ride share services to get you to the Tuscany if you're staying at another hotel in the city. If you're driving your own vehicle to the event, please review the parking instructions above. Also keep in mind that Uber & Lyft will generally drop you off in Goodsprings but will not make the effort to come pick you up. We don't want folks getting stuck, regardless of being open 24 hours.
Have fun and enjoy a safe experience. Please report any issues, bad behavior or suspicious activity to the staff or call the security hotline at 702-764-9618. You may wear costumes/cosplay or dress in regular clothes. You are welcome to bring pretend game-themed weapons. Bring clothes for cold weather (the Mojave in November can get quite chilly, especially at night). Stay hydrated. Goodsprings is very dry and a higher elevation than Las Vegas (3700'). When posting on social media, please use the official hashtag: #pioneerfallout2024.
Please do not enter the Goodsprings Cemetery (or leave snow globes at the site) since it is a real cemetery with locals' loved ones buried there. Please also do not venture off the roads since property in Goodsprings is almost entirely privately owned. Please do not bring outside food & drink on to the property (per County regulations & insurance requirements) or real weapons on site. Also, please do not respond to direct messages from (fake) social media accounts claiming to be Gordie Siddons, the local Goodsprings resident thought to have inspired the character, Easy Pete. Police believe international fraud and extortion groups are behind these accounts who are asking for money.
The town of Goodsprings, just outside of Las Vegas, currently has no hotels. However, free camping is available on BLM land that extends right up to Goodsprings (https://www.blm.gov/southern-nevada-district-recreation). See the next 3 Q&As for accommodations options in Las Vegas, Primm, & Sandy Valley, all roughly 20-25 minutes away from the Saloon.
Raw camping and RV parking is available at Sandy Valley Ranch and Mojave Sky Ranch in the nearby town of Sandy Valley, Nevada (contact Sandi at 702-265-9646). The cost is $100 for the weekend (Friday night, Saturday night & Sunday night). The ranch is 16 miles from the Saloon. This is also the location for the Mojave Mayhem Wrap Party.

Pioneer Saloon will offer a special menu that includes game-themed specials. The kitchen will be open 9 am-10 pm on Saturday and 9 am-8 pm on Sunday. Snacks will be available 24 hours. We are building an additional kitchen and adding food trucks, bars, & vendors to be available just for this event.
You are welcome to bring in your own lawn chairs, blankets or other items to be more comfortable in a festival like environment. The main things to keep in mind are real weapons as well as outside food & drink are absolutely not permitted.
Our traditional "Vendor Village" is full but there might be associated events with vending opportunities. if you're interested, please email Dyann "Lady Dy" Widman at dyannsemail@gmail.com

The popular video game, Fallout New Vegas, takes place in the town of Goodsprings and includes real local icons such as the Goodsprings Cemetery, Elementary School, General Store and Pioneer Saloon, although it's referred to as the "Prospector Saloon" in the game. In 2021, the Saloon was "acquired" by a musician and businessman known as "Old Man Liver", founder of Old Man Liver American Whiskey amongst other businesses. A video game nut growing up, Old Man Liver quickly saw the interest and started the annual fan celebration in 2022. The event has grown each year and is expected to continue growing for the foreseeable future, especially now that Amazon has a hit series based on the game.
